About the EDC

The Electronic Data Center, established in 1996, supports quantitative and spatial research in the social sciences and is one of a limited number of full-service data centers at universities in the United States. At the center, researchers have access to a broad collection of numeric and spatial data from specialized workstations equipped with statistical and mapping software. Location: The Electronic Data Center is located in the Technology Centers of Robert W. Woodruff Library, Room 217. Hours of Operation: The Resources of the Data Center are available: 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday - Friday GIS and Electronic Data Consulting Services are available by appointment.
